Description: Bronze is a metal alloy produced by blending copper and tin in various amounts, depending on the application. Bronze is made by smelting copper and tin together. When bronze is cast for use in statues, it contains between two and 20% tin, while bells use a higher percentage of tin: 15-20%.Bronze has several properties that make it valuable in industrial applications. The first is that the metal causes minimal friction, making it highly useful for machine parts and other applications that involve metal on metal contact, such as gears. Bronze is also non-sparking, so it is often used to make tools for use in combustible environments. The resonance of bronze also makes it ideal for use in casting bells. In shipping industry, we often use gate valve, globe valve, angle valve, ball valve, stop valve, check valve, butterfly valve, etc. They are made of bronze according to different standards, JIS, DIN, ANSI, GB/CB, etc. Ijin Marine Limited always try our best to satisfy all demand everywhere in China’s shipping market.

Standard: JIS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM, GB/CB

Certificate: CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL, DNV, RS, NK etc.

Cast Iron Valve

HS Code: 8481400000

IMPA Code: 750201-751436

Location: China

Categories: Ship valve, marine valve

Export: America, Euro, UAE, Japan, Korea, Worldwide

Description: Iron is the most widely used of all the metals, accounting for 95% of worldwide metal production. Its low cost and high strength make it indispensable in engineering applications such as the construction of machinery and machine tools, automobiles, the hulls of large ships, and structural components for buildings. Since pure iron is quite soft, it is most commonly used in the form of steel. The main disadvantage of iron and steel is that pure iron, and most of its alloys, suffer badly from rust if not protected in some way. Painting, galvanization, passivation, plastic coating and bluing are some techniques used to protect iron from rust by excluding water and oxygen or by sacrificial protection.

Standard:JIS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM, GB/CB

Certificate: CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL, DNV, RS, NK etc.

Cast Steel Valve

HS Code: 8481804090

IMPA Code: 750401-756098

Location: China

Categories: Ship valve, marine valve

Export: America, Euro, UAE, Japan, Korea, Worldwide

Description: Steel is an alloy consisting mostly of iron, with a carbon content between 0.2% and 2.14% by weight (C:110–10Fe), depending on grade. Carbon is the most cost-effective alloying material for iron, but various other alloying elements are used such as manganese, chromium, vanadium, and tungsten. Carbon and other elements act as a hardening agent, preventing dislocations in the iron atom crystal lattice from sliding past one another. Varying the amount of alloying elements and form of their presence in the steel (solute elements, precipitated phase) controls qualities such as the hardness, ductility, and tensile strength of the resulting steel. Steel with increased carbon content can be made harder and stronger than iron, but is also more brittle.

Standard: JIS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM, GB/CB

Certificate: CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL, DNV, RS, NK etc.

Butterfly Valve

HS Code: 8481804090

IMPA Code: 752211-757455

Location: China

Categories: Ship valve, marine valve

Export: America, Euro, UAE, Japan, Korea, Worldwide

Description: A butterfly valve is a type of flow control device, typically used to regulate a fluid flowing through a section of pipe. The valve is similar in operation to a ball valve. A flat circular plate is positioned in the center of the pipe. The plate has a rod through it connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the plate either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the plate is always present within the flow, therefore a pressure drop is always induced in the flow regardless of valve position.

Standard: JIS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM, GB/CB

Certificate: CCS, ABS, BV, LR, GL, DNV, RS, NK etc.
